Shirika la umeme Tanzania (TANESCO)linapenda kutoa taarifa kwa umma kuwa kuna watu wanatumia jina la TANESCO vibaya katika mitandao ya kijamii (facebook na twitter)kujibu watu matusi,kulikashifu shirika na kutoa maelezo yasiyo sahihi kuhusu shirika kwa kujifanya wao ni TANESCO.

Shirika limeshatoa taarifa Mamlaka ya udhibiti wa Mawasiliano Tanzania (TCRA) na kuwasiliana na vyombo vingine vya usalama juu ya uhujumu huo.Mitandao hiyo ina akaunti za facebook zinasomeka (TANESCO TZ  na TANESCO)na akaunti za twitter zinasomeka (Tanesco@TANESCO-,Tanesco Escober@tanescobar,TANESCO LTD@tanesco-)

KATIZO LA UMEME MKOA WA KINONDONI KUSINI

Shirika la umeme Tanzania Tanesco linawataarifu wateja wake wa Mkoa wa Kinondoni Kusini kuwa imetokea hitilafu ya umeme kwenye kituo kidogo cha kupoozea na kusambaza umeme cha Magomeni leo juni 15,2015 jioni hii.
Mafundi wanafanya patrol kuchunguza tatizo ni nini.

Maeneo yatakayokosa umeme ni Magomeni yote, Kigogo, Ubungo plaza, Mlimani City na baadhi ya maeneo ya UDSM, TCRA na Law School.

Shirika la Umeme Tanzania (TANESCO) linatoa taarifa kwa wateja wake kwamba Kampuni ya Pan African Energy (T) Ltd inayoendesha visima vya gesi Songosongo imezima baadhi ya mitambo yake kwa sababu ya hitilafu kwenye mfumo wa gesi.

Wakati kazi ya matengenezo ya kurekebisha hitilafu hiyo ikiendelea, kunaweza kujitokeza usumbufu kwa baadhi ya wateja hadi kazi hiyo itakapokamilika.

ARTISAN –  FITTER AND TURNER  (1POST)

REPORTS TO:  MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - MTERA

POSITION OBJECTIVE  

Responsible for maintenance of plant machinery by attending all plant equipment to ensure smooth running of all plant machinery at the station by adhering to Plant preventive maintenance schedule.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

·         Repair all plant machinery under the directives from the mechanical Technician.

·         Fabrication of all metal equipment and tools required for effective machinery operations.

·         Report to the Mechanical Technician any defects on the plant machinery for the purpose of securing the components, spares and accessories necessary for accomplishment of daily duties.

·         Execute all daily works as schedule and report all accomplished works to the mechanical Technician.

·         Ensure industrial and workshop safety regulation

Key Knowledge, Experience and Skills you must posses

• Form IV  Secondary Certificate
• Holder a certificate in machinery fitting from VETA or any recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience  
• Computer knowledge is preferable

ARTISAN –  DAM ATTENDANT (1POST)

REPORTS TO:  CIVIL TECHNICIAN - MTERA

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To maintain Dam Area cleanliness, Leakage measurement in the dam body and other civil works at the station.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Leakage measurement from the dam
• Visual inspection of the dam body in order to recognize any defect
• To clean the dam site area including upper and downstream side.
• To assist in the civil works particularly mason and plumbing under the directives of civil Technician.
• Report to Civil Technician/Supervisor any defects at the dam site for the purpose of detecting early condition of the dam to allow time to properly evaluate the on-going safety of the dam and to take corrective action
  Key Knowledge, Experience and Skills you must posses
  • Form IV  Secondary Certificate
  • Holder a certificate in Civil works from VETA or any recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience
