QUOTATION FORVARIOUS CIVIL CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT TANGA REGION

INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS

                                                                                                             Date: June, 2014

1.         The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited has set aside funds for Procurement of different works for North Zone. The funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for which this invitation for quotation is issued.

2.         You are hereby invited to submit your price quotation for executing the works as described in the Bills of Quantities (BOQ)/Specifications as appended in Appendix A for the following lots:-

1)    Construction of Toilets at Korogwe District Store

2)    Construction of Askari Kiosk at Korogwe District Office

3)    Bore hole drilling at Handeni District Office

3.         All quotations in one original, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked Quotation No. PA/001/14/NZN/W/001 for Various Civil Construction Works at Tanga Region delivered to the address: Secretary, TANESCO ZONAL TENDER BOARD - NORTH, P.O. BOX 5048, TANGA, to reach him at the 5^th floor Room no. 505/503 not later than 8^th July, 2014 at or before 14.30 hours local time.

4.         The deadline for submission of quotations is Tuesday 8^th July, 2014 at 14:30hours local time. Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at 5^th Floor, Room No. 507 at 14:30hrs.

5.    Late quotations, portion of quotations, and quotations not received, quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.

6.    Interested and eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Quotation Documents at the office of Zonal Procurement Specialist, located at the 5^th floor, Room No. 505/503, Regional Office Building, Swahili/Market Road, P.O Box 5048, Tanga. From 09:00hrs to 16.30 hrs on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.

7.    A complete set of Quotation Document(s) in English  may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 3 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tanzania Shillings One fifty thousand only (TZS:50,000/=). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to TANESCO Ltd. P.O. Box 9024, Dar es Salaam.
