Balozi wa Japan nchini Bw. Masaki Okoda, Machi 22, 2012 ametembelea Chuo Cha TANESCO, kilichopo Masaki Jijini Dar es Salaam ikiwa ni ziara yake ya kikazi ya kukagua miradi inayofadhiliwa na Shirika la Ushirikiano la Kimataifa la Japan (JICA). JICA wamekuwa wakishirikiana na chuo hicho katika kuandaa mitaala na pia wamekuwa wakilisaidia Shirika la umeme Tanzania (TANESCO) kwa ushauri katika masuala ya ufundi na teknolojia.
Ujumbe wa Balozi Okoda uliongozwa na mwakilishi wa
JICA Tanzania, Bi. Minako Yamanoto na Balozi Mdogo wa Japan nchini Mr. Yukinori
Seki. Ujumbe huu ulipokelewa na Mkuu wa Chuo
cha TANESCO, Bi. Subira Wandiba na Meneja Mwajiri na Mahusiano sehemu ya
kazi TANESCO, Bw. Ahmed Mnunguye pamoja
na uongozi mzima wa Chuo hicho.
Mkuu wa Chuo Bi. Subira Wandiba, alimweleza Balozi,
Masaki Okoda, kwamba chuo chake kinatoa kozi za kiufundi kwa mafundi mchundo na
wanategemea siku za karibuni kuanza kutoa kozi kwa wahandisi ambao watakuwa na
madarasa yao katika Chuo kingine kam hicho ambacho kimejengwa katikati ya jiji
eneo la Stesheni, pia alisema lengo la chuo ni kuwajengea uwezo wafanyakazi wa TANESCO ili kuboresha utendajikazi
wao na kwenda sambamba na mabadiliko ya
teknolojia.
Kwa upande wake balozi Okoda, alipata nafasi ya
kuuliza maswali mengi hasa akitaka kujua tofauti ya ya kiutendaji kati ya
wahandisi na mafundi mchundo, pia akitaka kujua jinsi gani chuo hicho kinaweza
kusaidia katika utatuzi wa tatizo la uchakavu wa miundombinu na baadae
alitembelea maeneo mbalimbali ya chuo hicho kuona mazingira pamoja na kukutana
na wanafunzi waliokuwa katika masomo kwa vitendo. Wanafunzi hao walikuwa
wanajenga njia mpya za mfumo wa kusafirishia umeme.
Akiaagana na Uongozi wa Chuo Balozi Okoda, aliwapongeza
JICA na uongozi wa Chuo kwa kazi nzuri na kuwashauri kuona jinsi ya kupata eneo
kubwa zaidi kwa ajili ya kukiendeleza, hii ni baada ya kuona eneo la chuo ni
dogo akilinganisha na mipango mizuri na mikubwa ya chuo.

pays a visit to TANESCO Training School

Japanese
ambassador to Tanzania Mr
Masaki Okoda on March 22, 2012 paid an official visit to TANESCO Technical
Training School (TTTS) at Masaki in Dar es Salaam to look over as one of the
JICA funded projects.
JICA has cooperated with (TTTS) in formulation of curriculums
for students at the school and has extended consultancy support services on
technical and technological issues to TANESCO.
The Okoda’s visit was headed by JICA (T) representative Ms Minako Yamanoto and second
Japanese ambassador to Tanzania Mr Yukinori Seki.
The delegation was time-honored by TTTS head Ms Subira
Wandiba, Manager Employees and labour Relations Mr Ahmed Mnunguye and the TTTS
management.
The School’s head Ms Wandiba notified ambassador Okoda that
school provides training to artisans and the plan is to train engineers in the
near future at its newly established School in the City Centre close to railway
station.
However Ms Wandiba insisted that the School targets at
TANESCO employees capacity building, performance and technology improvement.
Responding to TTTS briefing, Mr Okoda asked the differences
that exist between artisans and engineers in term of their duties, and finally
asked how TTTS provides assistance to tackle the current old and overloaded TANESCO
infrastructures.
Later Mr Okoda had a chance to see practical training
programme for construction of transmission line which was been carried by
students at the site.
Before his departure Mr Okoda, congratulated TTTS management
for the job well done and advised it to acquire more space to develop the
school following huge and good plans underway.
