TENDER NO. PA/001/14/HQ/N/043 FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF OFFICE SPACE FOR
KAUDA MAINTERNANCE TEAM AND BRN PROJECTS
1. Tanzania
Electric Supply Company Limited -
TANESCO is an autonomous Government organization with the mission to
generate, transmit and distribute electricity. The Company has its
headquarters in Dar es Salaam and extends to over 28 regions divided
into five zones and more than 50 districts all over
the country.
2. TANESCO
is intending to acquire an office
space under lease arrangement with premises owners within Ubungo area
approximately 2km from Umeme Park Building. TANESCO therefore invites
Expression of Interest from owners of
COMMERCIAL PREMISES measuring in the range of 600 to 650 square
metres of built up area LEASE AGREEMENT. The Premise shall have Power
from Public Supplier (TANESCO) and backup generator, Water from a Public
Supplier (DAWASCO) supplemented by a Bore Hole
and reserve tanks, a minimum of 15 parking slots, storage yard and easy
access to the general public and within a friendly environment that is
appropriate for the company business.
3. On
receipt of such Expression of Interest,
the said premises will be inspected for preliminary short-listing of
those premises that meets requirement under Para 2 above. Owners of the
shortlisted premises would be requested to submit their financial offers
for scrutiny and comparison prior entering
into contract with the lowest evaluated landlord. The Expression of
Interest can be forwarded by owners or their representatives enclosing
legally binding authorization to administer on his/her behalf including
finalizing the agreement.
4. Interested eligible owners of commercial premises
may obtain expression of interest document
free of charge from the office of the Secretary,
Tender Board, TANESCO Head Office-Umeme Park Building, Ubungo-Morogoro Road, Third Floor, Room No. 305A, P.O. Box 9024,
Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

5. Expression of Interest documents
in one original plus three copies, properly filled in are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked, Tender No:
PA/001/14/N/043 for EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF OFFICE SPACE FOR KAUDA MAINTERNANCE TEAM AND BRN PROJECT FOR THE YEAR 2014, must
be delivered to the Secretary,
Tender Board, TANESCO Head Office-Umeme Park Building, Ubungo-Morogoro Road, ground Floor, Room No. G15, P.O. Box 9024,
Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

If owner has more than one premise to be offered, a separate Expression of Interest has to be submitted for each premise.
6. Deadline for submission will be on or before
14:30 hours 28th February, 2014. The submissions will be
opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of owner’s
representatives who choose to attend in the opening at Twiga Board Room
located at the Ground Floor

7. Late
submissions, portion of submissions,
electronic submissions, and submission not received, submissions not
opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall
not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
